Is this the Only Resolution that Matters?

It is that time of the year again, when many of us reflect, release and celebrate on the year that was and identify intentions for the coming year.

What if this year the only resolution you made was to love yourself more?

This question is something I started contemplating this time last year and made a conscious choice to do things more things this year that made me feel good.

From making these conscious choices, I have grown more self-compassionate throughout the year and will continue to grow in that area. Being more self-compassionate has also helped me be more compassionate with other people.

In order to learn to love yourself more, some sentence starters you may like to consider include –

  • The story or stories I need to stop telling myself are…
  • The essential needs I need to focus on are…
  • I need to let go _____________, so I can feel free.
  • The draining habits, behaviours or routines I need to stop are…
  • The empowering habits, behaviour or routines I need to start or continue are…
  • I would like to invest and spend more of my time in…
  • The people who I trust and can turn to for support are…

I invite you to join me in this inquiry process.
