This practical, interactive session will be delivered by award-winning business owner Michelle P Smith of ValueAdd Business Solutions. Michelle has extensive knowledge of new start and growing businesses, having worked with an array of organisations over the years. Michelle's recent success has included winning 2014 “VA of the Year, Scotland”, “UK, VA of the Year" and in November 2016 Michelle and her team were awarded the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers LUCA award for Large Practice of the Year.
This session will help you find out how to stand out from other entrants and become the award-winning business you dream of! Whether you are preparing for sector-specific awards or thinking of entering one of the exciting new swib awards, this session will help you prepare. The session will include:
- hints & tips on how to find the awards that could work for your business
- help you work out what are the key aspects of your success that will help you win
- help you to understand what the judges are looking for
- give helpful advice on how to make the most of your success in your communications
Michelle, who is also an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland, will be happy to answer your questions, please come armed with ideas for awards that could work for your business and a list of questions to help your business on the road to award-winning success.
Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be provided.
