Did US President Trump copy his inauguration speech from not 1 BUT 3 films!?
The 45th President of the United States of America allegedly copied his inauguration speech from not one but three films. Plus one TV show.
The 45th President of the United States of America Donald John Trump is now the leader of the free world.
In his inauguration speech at Washington, DC, Trump vowed to rebuild his nation using "American hands" and as such, would bring back jobs, wealth and dreams to the American people.

While Trump spoke, it began raining but that did not stop the businessman, former TV host and a lover of "the Hindu" from talking about his promises to make America great again.
But turns out, chunks from Donald Trump's speech were allegedly copied. From Hollywood films. And not one but three!
Sample this:
Trump: "But we are transferring power from Washington D.C. and giving it back to you? the people. For too long a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have born the cost."
And this is the villaine Bane from The Dark Knight Rises:
"We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity, and we give it back to you? the people. Gotham is yours. None shall interfere."

Bane is a fascist warlord in the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises. He gathers a team of mercenaries and soldiers formed by fugitives, crooks, thieves and impoverished freelancers and in a pivotal scene, stands atop a tank and attempts to rile up the passions of Gotham City's lower-class people by encouraging them to loot from the well-to-do and vandalise the city.

Now, this is not the only part US President Donald Trump copied or took inspiration from Hollywood films. Here's more, according to Twitter users @xdelmar59 and @Lee_in_Iowa.
Trump: "We are one nation, and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams. And their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny."
And here's Barry B Benson, the protagonist from the 2007 animated film Bee Movie:
"We are one colony - and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one hive and one glorious destiny."

Thought that was it? Trump apparently lifted his speech from James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar as well.
Trump: "And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator."
Now, here's Avatar villain Colonel Miles Quaritch:
"And whether a human child is born on Earth or in the space colonies or the windswept planet of Kabuska, they look up at the same stars, they fill their life with the same dreams and they are infused with the breath of conquest by the same Almighty Creator."
@xdelmar59 Even worse, George, he plagiarized a Batman villain and this (Avatar): pic.twitter.com/vJ1D80bVrY Lee in Iowa (@Lee_in_Iowa) January 21, 2017
Although, soon enough, the aforementioned lines from Bee Movie and Avatar were later discovered to be doctored and fake when Twitterati responded to the tweets above.
Bee-Movie quote fake. Avatar quote fake. Let's not recycle stupid memes, world? One just became President. #speech #debunk #Inauguration Raja Sen (@RajaSen) January 21, 2017
@xdelmar59 Fake. Here's the transcript of the film, those lines aren't in it. https://t.co/2Da8bC3VCG Andy Baio (@waxpancake) January 21, 2017
@Lee_in_Iowa @xdelmar59 no the Avatar one is NOT real; there's no such dialogue in the move NameChange (@FakeEmily65) January 21, 2017
Isn't Twitter just a merry-go-round of misleading news?
Now, turns out that the by-now-famous "America first" phrase by Donald Trump is taken from the short-lived TV sketch-comedy show called Mr. Show with Bob and David. Watch:
Yes Trump maybe copied Bane for his #Inauguration speech, but check where he got his "America First!" line from: @davidcrosss @mrbobodenkirk pic.twitter.com/sYAT3Y9d6Y Seth Zielinski (@CapAmericanski) January 20, 2017
In fact, last year, Donald Trump's wife and now the First Lady, Melania Trump courted controversy by plagiarising from Michelle Obama's 2008 convention speech.

Here's hoping President Trump and the First Lady Mrs Trump get themselves a new speech writer. A 100 per cent American one.
