Recently, domain investor @kerala announced that they had completed the sale of the domain name Billion.in, thanks to Uniregistry and DomainTools. According to the announcement, the sales price was $3,500 and the name was acquired by Sachin Bansal.
Sachin is an Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Flipkart; an ecommerce company that has a market value of $5.54 billion, according to Wikipedia. Since investors now know the identity of the buyer, the community is now asking whether the domain name could have been sold for more. What’s your opinion?

My First Four Figure Sale
After two three figure domain sales, investor @DomainingIsFun proudly announced their first ever four figure domain name sale, which happened thanks to a “Buy It Now” option on a Flippa auction. Having acquired the name for $79 via NameJet, this domainer promptly listed it for sale in a Flippa auction with a four figure buy now price.
The domain name didn’t sell first time round, but fortunately six days after relisting, the name sold at the four figure buy now price. Congratulations to the seller!
