Nokia has seen better days, since the failure of Windows Phone, the company has dropped almost all of its marked share, but looks like the company is ready to mark its return to the market.

HMD Global – Company that owns Nokia Brand announced a new phone, and it runs on Android rather than Microsoft’s mobile OS. The company did not announce the phone at a fancy event. Instead, it was launched directly on the company website.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm® Xiao Long ™ Octa Core processor and it has 4 GB RAM. It also has 64 GB of Internal Storage, and the phone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System. On the display department, the phone has a 5.5″ full-HD display that is wrapped in 2.5D Gorilla glass.

The phone also has a fingerprint scanner, a f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The company has focused a lot on the build material; the phone uses 6000 series aluminum, and it has Dolby Atoms tech and dual amplifiers for louder sound outputs.

HMD states no further details about software features or availability in India. As of now, the phone costs 1699 CNY (Almost 16,750 INR) and is exclusive to China.

The phone seems fairly spec’d for the price, but I think we should hold judgements until we can get our hands off the device/
