Photographer Aubrie Moates of Hello Baby Birth Photography has been capturing delivery and labor photos for mothers for years. But for her, 2015 was the most emotional one because of the incredible stories being told with each shot. When asked by Baby Center Blog about her favorites from this year, Aubrie was quick to pick out these 18 powerful images:
"I love how you can actually see her entire stomach contracting. You can almost hear that roar."
"This was a true knot, a very rare occurrence that can happen while the baby is in utero."
"A lot of the images that I was drawn to were not only about the literal moment of birth, but the moments and people surrounding the experience. That's what I love so much about birth photography: It tells a story."
