Samsung launched Galaxy S7 Edge in Black Pearl colour variant in India

After rolling out the Pink Gold colour variant, Samsung launched Galaxy S7 Edge in Black Pearl colour variant in India. While the pricing remains unchanged for the Pink Gold colour variant, the company decided to hike up the price of the new Black Pearl colour variant at Rs. 56,900.

The Black Pearl model comes with few upgrades including internal storage capacity of 128GB, which 32GB in the other variants. Similar to the Pink Gold variant, users can pay Rs. 2,980 and get Gear VR headset and a screen replacement offer from Samsung. The company assures that the shipment for the Black Pearl variant will begin from December 30th.

After this latest edition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is now available in Blue Coral, Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum, Blue Coral, Pink Gold, and Black Pearl colour variants in India.

Coming to the specification of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the device comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display along with QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.

It comes with an always-on display that allows the users to check time, date, and notifications without waking up the phone. The smartphone comes with a 12-megapixel ‘Dual-Pixel’ primary camera with a f/1.7 aperture and smart OIS feature. At the front, the Galaxy S7 Edge bears a 5-megapixel snapper along with a f/1.7 aperture. The device comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and it is powered by a 3600mAh battery. The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is measured at 150.90×72.60×7.70, and it weighs 157 grams.

A few days back, the company rolled out Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in Pink Gold colour variant. However, the smartphone didn’t feature any upgrades and the price tag also remained same as it is for the variants.
