Xiaomi has launched budget Mi Headphones

Soon after rolling out the new Piton Fresh in-ear headphones, Xiaomi has launched budget Mi Headphones. The device is priced at CNY 199 (Rs. 2,000 respectively), and they are now available to buy in China.  The new Mi headphones are a downgraded variant of the high-end Mi Headphones released last year with a price tag of CNY 499 (around Rs. 5,000).

The new Mi Headphones will be available in Orange, Mint, and White colour options. The device comes with PU leather material in the ear puffs whereas on the inside silicon material has been used. The company reassures that the Mi Headphones material is “skin-friendly”. The device comes with “sound chamber design” and rated to eliminate outside noise.

The Mi Headphones comes with built-in damping material that is capable of absorbing the effect of internal acoustic waves on the diaphragm, decreasing the distortion and provides more detail. One of the leaks about Mi Headphone also mentioned that the device received Japan Hi-Res Audio high-quality audio product standard certification. The new device sports a 32Ohma impedance.

Of late, Xiaomi also launched a new in-ear headphones named Piston Fresh in China. The device is priced at CNY 29 (around Rs. 300), and the device comes with an aluminium chamber. The in-ear headphones houses built-I microphone and a button to control volume or receive calls.

Earlier this month, the company also launched the Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD in the United States. The device was made available via Xiaomi’s online stores and was priced at $39.99 (around Rs. 2,800). The in-ear headphones come with dual-dynamic and balanced armature drivers. It also comes with in –built natural sound equaliser and a stretchable TPE matte wiring that provides durability and minimum tangles. The mid-range frequencies are also enhanced on these in-ear headphones.
