As long as the schedule allows we can typically consult and then treat. We do offer 1/2 syringes of filler to the lips which start at $500. We also offer in house financing!

Feb 19, 2023Previous reviewRecommended! I decided that it was time to reverse some of my aging & give myself some TLC. I found Leilani, @nursebelladerm on Instagram.
I no longer have a car, so I was happy to see that bus 13 from Waikiki goes right there. Easy-Peasy.
I am very impressed with Leilani's professionalism and knowledge. After addressing my main concerns, we came up with a plan of action. I started with botox and filler. So far, so good. This is one of my new favorite places. - Jul 11, 202228 check-ins
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I am consistently pleased with the services I receive at Honolulu MedSpa. Arlene is amazing! She's so personable, intelligent and conscientious in everything she's communicates and in every service she provides.
Janika, I sure hope I spelled her name right, is also so very delightful! Here's the thing, anyone can provide a service. It's not just the service, it's the care, concern and treatment that you receive when it's administered.

Been coming here for facials for a while now. The facility is always clean and welcoming. My esthetician Tiffany is the best in the business. Tiffany always has a welcoming chill vibe. Definitely would recommend to friends and family!

I chose this spa because of the reviews & it's close to home for me. Booking was smooth other the phone and appreciate all the appointment reminders they send out.
On the day of, checkin was easy since I filled out the intake forms online. Which I highly recommend.
This was my first LHR session so I was very nervous. Valerie was the kind soul in charge of zapping me today. She answered my 500 questions and talked me through the tough zaps.
Check out was smooth but I didn't receive the Yelp discount as expected. I did mention that I found them on Yelp during the booking but I didn't remind them at check out. The total was 160. & booked for my second session. Can't wait!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

I was talked into doing 4 treatments of virtue RF, microneedling with radio frequency. After my first treatment I mentioned my face looked sunken in slightly in areas. I was told not to worry they will go over that area again to stimulate collagen. Basically, trust the process every time I went in.
A month after my fourth treatment my face was completely gaunt. It took me a year to go back out of embarrassment. They took no fault and told me it was just from age, 37yrs. At your very first consultation with us we did recommend treatments such as Sculptra and filler to help meet your goal of achieving a more 'plump face.' You did decline these recommendations and elected to move forward with the VirtueRF. We were very clear that this treatment will help with collagen stimulation and texture, but will not add fat back to any area of the face. We do understand that after doing your own research you had your heart set on VirtueRF, but the treatment is designed to only do so much.

Update as previously promised. Todays visit went extremely well. I was greeted and checked in. All questions were answered and the front desk was attentive. Leilani is amazing. She took the time to go over every procedure I inquired about in detail. I felt comfortable and at ease. My lips look great and I got some new skin care products that go along with my current home regimen. And I didn't break the bank. I left feeling great. Can't wait to see what I'm gonna do next with Leilani and Honolulu Med Spa.

Sep 17, 2022Previous reviewFirst time doing cosmetic procedure on my lips. Leilani was very pleasant, hospitable and knowledgeable. Leilani is a nurse practitioner. Forgive me for forgetting the name of the person that assisted with my procedure. She was great and helped me get through it immensely. We went over what outcome I would like to achieve and what realistically what could be done. I was able to make a decision with all the information given in the first ten minutes of our conversation. The whole thing took about 45 minutes-not bad for a first time visit. I was comfortable and had minimal pain.
Checkout was a little distracting. I arrived at the counter and given my total. My bill was never explained to me nor did a get a receipt. A big commotion was going on congratulations we're being given to an employee for her birthday. It was nice to see however I felt less than and invisible,sad being my first time there.
I was told about an online app that was sent to me via text message. I followed the steps to sign up and thought wow this is great I can get points. I don't see any points but maybe it will populate later. I felt rushed and out of place. It's unfortunate because I went there to fell good. I do feel good about the procedure and how I was treated in the room but something is off when it doesn't flow throughout.
Originally a friend of mine made a call to book an appointment on the anniversary date of the company. After reviewing her schedule she had to call back and schedule for a different day. I called and tried to make an appointment for the anniversary date with great encouragement from my friend and reached the voicemail. Via messaging I was told they're not doing any procedure appointments for that date. I heard the phone call my friend had made, she had it on speakerphone, so this was off but I just decided to schedule anyways. Everything was done via messaging and email, no personal touch. I secured my appointment no quotes given and I filled out all necessary documents. I know there is a stigma of cosmetic procedures are for superficial but I think people should be able to do whatever makes them happy and humans feel. With that being said, the front staff and appointment system gives that superficial feeling. I do want to go back to get more procedures done because I felt comfortable in the room during the procedure but now I find myself in a dilemma. It's like when you go to an ethnic restaurant and you are treated extremely rude due to "that's how they are in their culture", but you then know oh this food is gonna be good. We'll that is where I am at. Do I accept the front desk vacant hospitality and get some good work done by a professional, or do I go elsewhere? Maybe they just miscommunicated on the initial phone cal and maybe the excitement of a birthday overtook the room. I am happy with my lip procedure results thus far. I don't recommend it. I have been doing botox for over 10 years and I know what the result should be. I received 36 units (it is a LOT) in the forehead area on the first visit and some more (3 injections) on the second visit. My request was to raise my left eyebrow to the level of my right, this is exactly why I do Botox. And look at the result after 2 visits. I'm super upset because I spent like $500 on nothing and I need to go somewhere else to lift my poor eyebrow and remove my wrinkles. Very upset. This has never happened before. It was already out of my budget and I was left for the holidays with sad eyes.

Hi Anastasia, We did discuss your correct dosing at the appointment and let you know that the units you purchased would not cover the total areas you wanted to treat. As you know, we did not put 36 units in your forehead only. Botox is a medication and can only work if dosed properly. As professionals in this industry who have been administering Botox for over 22 years, we make our recommendations based on experience and knowledge of facial anatomy + correct dosing. We understand you are not pleased with the results and hope you find what you need at your future practice.

I absolutely LOVE Honolulu MedSpa, I got my lip injections here 2 weeks ago and I LOVE THEM!! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for lip fillers, Leilani did an outstanding job, she was super nice and she walked me through the whole procedure. 11/10 experience I will most DEFINITELY be coming back here

I usually really like HMS and they've been my go to forever but recently it's like they don't care to waste your time. Showed up to my scheduled appointment today that was confirmed with a text that THEY sent me, reminding me of my appointment and they said oh your appt. Is on Monday, nothing we can do. Sorry. Like I didn't just drive all the way to town and take off of work for no reason. Really Honolulu med spa? This isn't the first time this has happened either. You charge an arm and a leg for your services, you should be able to afford a decent scheduling system.

I've been going to this spa intermittently for years. It's not in the middle of town (e.g., Ward/Ala Moana) where there's heavy traffic like some of the other spas I frequent, which I really like. Always parking, quick access to the freeway. The girls in the front are pretty friendly, and I appreciate how responsive they are via text when I need to make/reschedule appts. Their prices are reasonable and competitive with the other spas, too.

She's so kind, professional, very skilled/knowledgeable at her craft, and lastly... never pushes treatments she doesn't believe you need. I trust her judgment and recommend her to everyone. I also adore Janika, who did my 2nd Fotona-4D treatment today. She sweet, funny, and provided me with great skincare tips too. However, what I am most grateful for is how thorough she was. Janika really took her time treating my face and ensured I got the most out of the treatment. I could feel the tightening right after the first (step) of the 4-step treatment. I was over the moon! It's not hard to tell that she takes a lot of pride in what she does and truly wants her clients to have great results. Anyhoots... I just wanted to give big KUDOS to Leilani and Janika. Because of them, the great customer service, and the fantastic promotions/specials; I will continue to be a loyal client of this spa.
