A few months ago I was invited to attend this year's Clothes Show, I could not wait! I have always wanted to go to The Clothes Show ever since I was little and I've never been able to attend it, who would believe the first time I'd go I'd be invited?

I got the day off of school and caught the train to the NEC, luckily Leicester was the first stop and we managed to grab a couple of seats for the journey. When we arrived at Grand Central, Birmingham, and I was in awe. I've never been there and now I've got to make a trip just to shop there! 

When we arrived at the NEC I was amazed at how big The Clothes Show actually was, I didn't know where to start. First we headed to the Press and Blogger lounge to check in. We booked ourselves in to watch the catwalk in the Acatel Fashion Theatre. There was half an hour to waste before the show so we wandered around and got our heads around the layout of the place.

Once we were sat down in their theatre, the show started. It was full of energy! I loved some of the outfits showcased....and a few of the male models....

This years theme was Rock The Runway, and the show sure did. The music was fab, there was a brilliant saxophonist, unfortunately I never caught her name. We also saw performances from Daeclom and Charlotte OC who were both absolutely amazing. Daecolm bought so much energy into each performance and Charlotte OC bought the soul.

After the show we bought some lunch and started to explore the halls, We stopped off at Capital FM and made a little gif...

After this, we walked around the Beauty section and shopped at some  stalls like Barry M, Lee Stafford, BOMB, Betty.Me, Zero Skin, Warpaint Cosmetics and many more. We then visited the Fashion and Home areas and shopped at Glamour and Wraps which are a really cool headphone company. A little review at everything that I got will be at the bottom. I spent about £30 and got an absolute tonne for my money. I wish I'd gotten some Christmas gifts there!

Some of the stalls were packed. To give our feet a rest we stopped off for a Starbucks and did a bit of people watching. To keep our minds entertained, we started doing a bit of model spotting out of all the people that passed by.. It was quite fun, I'd recommend it sometime! Haha, when everything had calmed down we headed back in for some last minute shopping before we headed back to  the train station.

Again, we were really lucky to get a seat because it was rush hour and my feet were killing me! Overall, I had the most amazing day, I wish I could go back and do it all again. However, The Clothes Show is moving to Liverpool next year and is taking over the city during July, so keep and eye out for that!

Now onto what I bought!

From Barry M, I could not resist their offer of £10 for all of this. I actually bought one for my sister too. I have been dying to get myself one of these I came, I saw, I contoured make up bags for a while now. In this bag were a selection of Barry M's products including a Get Up & Glow palette, Loud Mouth Extreme Lip Colour, a white Nail Art Pen, a Matte Me Up Lip Crayon in the shade 1, a Cor Balmy lip balm in the shade Trouble & Strife, one of their lipstick in the shade 153, a Collection Aquarium nail polish in the shade Persian, three Gelly nail polishes in the shade Blue Grape, Mustard, Chilli, a Matte nail polish in the shade Cancun and finally a limited edition Lolly Gloss in the shade Cherry Drop.

 I spent £9 in the Glamour stand and got a gift bag worth over £100. This included a years subscription to the magazine, Show Premier Finishing Hairspray, St.Tropez Classic Self Tan, Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce mousse, a Revlon nail polish in the shade Vixen, Elemis Anti Ageing cream, a sample of Zadig & Voltaire This is Her! perfume, a sample of Hollister's perfume Wave, and a sample of Revlon's Colourstay foundation.

I received a sample from ObeyYourBody which is a company that sell a lotion which removed all your dead skin. I was given a Carmex lip moisteriser from capital FM in a strawberry flavour. In addition to these, I bought a matte lip gloss set for £10 and it's fab.

I received some Mediterranean Cauli Rice which I'm yet to try, a small ball of green yarn from Paintbox which unfortunately I forgot to include in the image and I also forgot to put in my coffee scrub from Zero Skin (I'm terrible, I can't believe I forgot them!), I got a Srun which is like one of the donuts for your hair but this one is flexible, I also got a scrunchy from Go Guy and some underarm patches from dandi which prevents sweat marks on your tops.

Finally, I received some CoCo LoCo hairspray from Lee Stafford which is amazing because it doesn't make your hair go all crunchy and stiff, it also smells fab and that lasts all day - possibly longer! As well, I got some Wraps earphones worth £15 and these are designed to become a bracelet so they reduce tangling and losing them. The picture the the left shows you how fantastic they are!
