As a stay at home mom with three young adult children, life can become very overwhelming, especially when those kids are accompanied by four dogs and three reptiles. Yes, I said four dogs - A very excited Gold Retriever, a devoted German Shepherd, two high maintenance Bichon Frise. Alot of interesting things happen around our house , including finding the dogs in some very strange places, specifically the German Shepherd.
At four and a half years old, our German Shepherd has done some pretty unsuspecting things. One day I couldn't find him any where in the house. I wandered out to the garage to see if he was outside " helping" my husband work on repairing the car. It wasn't until I looked into our backyard that I discovered this:

Jaxx was running around on the trampoline with his frisbee. The amount of excitment on his face is unreal. After that day, I found him constantly playing on the trampoline. And thats not the only strange place i've found him. As a mom, you know that silence means the kids are up to no good. But as a dog owner, you know the opposite to be true . Obsessive barking was coming from my backyard and when I peered out the window to see what all the noise was about, I found Jaxx doing this:
He was standing on the patio table barking at the neighbor who was fixing his roof. I wasn't sure if I should be mad because he was scratching the patio table and using it as a perch or impressed because he found higher ground to get a better view of the neighbor. Dogs are a hassle, and as a stay at home mom, no one knows this better than we do. While our furry creatures can be annoying, the strange things we find them doing put a smile on our faces.
