Winning The Great British Bake Off changed Nadiya Hussain's life in so many ways - both good and bad.

The Junior Bake Off presenter was on The Graham Norton Show to chat about her Christmas special, and admitted to Graham that she's now recognised everywhere she goes. Literally everywhere.

"It's not a bad thing," she insisted. "People are lovely. People are so nice. Some not so nice, but mostly nice. I'm not shy, we've all got to do it - I recently went for my smear test."

"We've all been there," Graham joked while cringing.

"It's that god-awful fear where you think, 'I really don't wanna go! I just want to get this over with. I've shaved my legs. Let's do this!' I turned up and I thought, 'Please don't recognise me! Please don't recognise me! Please don't recognise me!'

"I can just go in, get it done and get out. There I was, [at the] speculum. [The doctor] said, 'Is Paul Hollywood really that good-looking?'"

"That's a way to get you to relax," fellow guest Sandi Toksvig chimed in as everyone cracked up.

On a less embarrassing note (but only slightly!), Nadiya also revealed that she has no memory of her now-legendary Bake Off victory speech that made millions all across the nation cry.

Nadiya is joined on the couch tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One by Star Wars legend Carrie Fisher, QI presenter Sandi Toksvig, artist Grayson Perry and boyband Busted.

Next week on The Graham Norton Show, the comic will welcome another all-star panel of Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel, Felicity Jones, Dawn French, Sir Michael Parkinson and Bruno Mars.

Graham also has amazing Christmas and New Year's Eve specials coming up on the BBC, so you'll have more chat than you can possibly handle this holiday season.
