What I’m Loving: First Looks with Dad

“First Looks” is a term in the wedding industry when you see and take photos with your partner before your ceremony on the wedding day. Many couples opt to do this to shake out some nerves, spend more time together, and maximize photo time.

Whether or not you plan on doing this, I’d HIGHLY recommend doing a “First Looks with Dad” (or Mom, both parents, really any close family members or friends who you think might get a little teary-eyed seeing you all dolled up for the first time). It provides an AWESOME opportunity for your photographer to capture some killer emotions and I can promise you that you’ll treasure these photos in your older years.

Recently, one of my amazing brides, Stephanie, did a First Look with her Dad. Amanda Brooke Photography was there to capture the moment brilliantly and once I saw them, I knew I had to share.

Plus, you can also get shots like this of your Mom, sisters and friends losing their marbles… awwwwww.
