UPDATE
The details of the Great British Bake Off Christmas special 2016 have been announced and we're pleased to say that there's not one, but two!
According to the Radio Times, the first episode will air on Christmas Day, on BBC One, at 4.45pm and will be repeated on Boxing Day at 11.30am (just incase you were still waiting on your cheese course when it played first time round).
The second episode will air on Boxing Day at 7pm.
The Christmas special will see eight bakers from past series return to try their hands at three festive challenges. The winner will be named the first ever Bake Off Christmas Champion!
Which ex-bakers will return?
The first episode, on Christmas Day, will welcome Mary-Anne (Series 2), Ali (Series 4), Cathryn (Series 3) and Norman (Series 5) back onto our screens.
The second episode, on Boxing Day, will feature Chetna (Series 5), Howard (Series 4), James (Series 3) and Janet (Series 2).
This will be the last time we'll see Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins together as the foursome we've come to love and will definitely miss. Get it in the diary!

Just when you thought you'd seen the very last BBC-based Great British Bake Off, this slice of information might just lift your spirits once more. There's going to be a GBBO Christmas special!
Last week, during Cosmopolitan's Bake Off Facebook Live, Kate Henry from 2014's GBBO, revealed the absolute humdinger (to use one of Mary Berry's signature phrases) of a secret.
Mere moments after Kate let slip, The Great British Bake Off Twitter account confirmed the news, although we still don't know what format the show will take.
Could it be a celebrity special? Or a Bake Off winners special? We know it won't be Bake Off Junior, because that has already been done.
