You - yes YOU! - deserve a round of applause because Stand Up To Cancer has raised an incredible sum.

After a night of hilarious comedy sketches, music and more, Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Adam Hills finished the seven-hour telethon by announcing that a staggering £15,700,222 million had poured in.

Good on you for helping to fund vital cancer research and making the lives of those children and adults battling the disease a little brighter. You should be proud!

Stand Up To Cancer certainly gave you bang for your buck with an all-star event featuring appearances from bonafide pop stars Britney Spears, John Legend and Frances.

Gogglebox brought together The X Factor stars Olly Murs and Niall Horan, Steve Coogan, Anna Friel AND England footballers Jamie Vardy, Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to pay tribute to those we lost to cancer - including the show's own narrator Caroline Aherne.

We even got a Humans spoof featuring the one and only Greg Davies as malfunctioning Synth.

From the Stand Up To Cancer studios Davina McCall, the Chatty Man himself Alan Carr and Adam Hills kept our spirits high throughout the night while also sharing some emotional testimonials from cancer survivors and their loved ones.

Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 to accelerate new cancer treatments to UK patients and save more lives, more quickly.

Launched in 2012, Stand Up To Cancer's fundraising total has so far reached over £25 million to fund clinical trials across the UK.
