L’Oreal Introduces Micellar Cleansing Water in the US

L’Oreal Micellar Water is available in three different formulas for $9.99 each now at Walgreens! L’Oreal’s Micellar Water has been readily available in the UK, Canada, and across Asia but we are just now getting it here in the US which a launch of a waterproof formula, hydrating and soothing formula, and a purify and mattify one (P.S. Garnier Micellar Water will be available in a mattifying version for Spring 2017 shortly)!

Garnier Micellar Water was finally launched in the US in 2015 and considering L’Oreal is the parent company of the brand I have no doubts that their newly launched Micellar Cleansing Water launch will be just as good as the Garnier version.

Micellar Cleansing Water gained some popularity at the drugstore in later 2015 as it was already a very, very popular product in Asia with the double cleanse movement being very strong in many Asian countries. I think the trend died down a little bit in the US but even though it isn’t talked about a whole lot it’s still something people are readily using. Garniers Waterproof Micellar Water is a particular popular product since it does such a great job removing waterproof eye makeup. Not that the original pink label doesn’t, but the blue label really gets it ALL off although I’m one that dislikes using the bi-phase formula on my face! It just feels very weird to me! But I do use it on my eyes. I suspect I’ll feel the same about L’Oreal’s version.

L’Oreal’s Micellar Cleansing Waters are available in 13.5 oz bottles for $9.99 each at Walgreens and will likely be coming soon to other drugstores as we head into Spring 2017 launches.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model.
