Online Marketing Trends That You Should Be Getting Your Attention.

The Online Marketing Trends of 2015 That You Should Be Paying Attention To.

The advancements and developments of the online world have begun to accelerate, and the casual observer needs to buckle up to keep track or the updates, and eventually, keep up with the swift pace of development.
When we said our farewells to 2014, we managed to gain some great insights from the online marketing trends of the previous year, which could be very definitive for the year 2015. Let us tell you more about the trends that are currently dominating the online marketing world.

Mobile Optimization Matters A LOT!

Optimizing your website for mobile will be far more important this year than the last, and Mobilegeddon proved that. Google has recently updated their search ranking algorithms which will now favor mobile optimized websites over the ones that are not. This means that SEO and mobile optimization will now be working hand-in-hand. This year is expected to shift into a time when mobile optimization will become much more complex than merely having a responsive website.
This year, mobile optimized content will carry a far greater value than ever before, just like social media marketing. If you haven’t yet, this may be very good time to start optimizing your website by incorporating mobile optimization within your digital marketing strategies.

Content Marketing Will Become BIGGER

Most organizations that made use of content marketing in 2014 consented to its effectiveness and importance earlier this year. The budgets that you have been allocating to PPC and SEO will automatically relocate this year to content marketing and the efforts that will be required to create a viable strategy.
The biggest struggle in this regard is taking control of the competition and still creating a unique presence for your own brand. There will be tons of content asking for attention and yours will need something special to stand out amidst the crowds. Most businesses will increase the allotment of budget that goes into content marketing in 2015 to make use of the prospect, and so should you.

Email Marketing Will Be REINCARNATED

Social networks are beginning to reduce the amount of visibility any brand can gain across their platforms, and search engines are starting to intimidate brands with newer and more stringent algorithms. In such times, business should return to the sole marketing asset at their disposal that they can practice a huge amount of control over, and that is email marketing.
The line that separate email and content marketing will become a little blurred this year due to the demand and supply dynamics of marketing portals. This year will be focused on recognizing the necessity of being able to differentiate yourself from your competitors. For e.g.; Coca Cola will celebrate its 100 year anniversary this year and the brand can be observed to understand how cleverly you can manage to make your own identity in the market over the years. It has been years since we have all been accustomed to having this amazing drink, yet, even now, no one dares to confuse it with its competing giant; Pepsi.
While this example may not clarify how emails will take a turn, it describes the way your brand needs to be distinguished among its competitors and what the best ways of bringing about that presence are. Businesses will be putting a lot of work on their emailing strategies this year to keep up with the competitive industry.
These may not be all of the changes coming about in 2015, but they are the BIG ones. And you need to be aware of the changes to keep your online marketing game strong.

What To Takeaway From These Trends.

  • The web is changing and so are the ways users interact with it. So if your website has not had an update in the past few years, it may be time you start looking at an update. Last let me give you a few tips for when you sit down with your development team to look at that update.
  • Bring three examples of website you like and be ready to explain why. Is it the color, a feature or just the feel. That alone can help the design process go smoother.
  • Bring at least one example of site you hate and tell them why.
  • Have a good idea of what goal of your site resigned or update are.... This is by far were I see most people get stuck... They want to take their website to the next level but have no goal.

To your sub point that Mobile Optimization Matters A LOT! You would think more companies would push more quality assurance in their programing teams. I know that is why our programing team has adopted having more then one device at each desk.. A tablet here and a Android phone or Apple IOS device there goes a long way to getting the real world user experience right. #BugsSuck but you can help keep them in check if your team takes a #mobilefirstapproach to a product or project.
