DADU: The paintings, Islamic calligraphy, arabesque art, floral designs, and geometrical designs on the walls of buildings, tombs, graves, mosques and canopies here are in dilapidated condition. These historical works date back to the periods of Mughals, Kalhoros Talpur, and Britain. Renowned scholar, historian, archeologist and writer Professor Aziz Kingrani briefed the media about this situation at his residence at Johi town on Sunday. He along with a team of journalists visited historical sites on Saturday and Sunday to observe these heritage paintings on the walls of historical sites. He demanded immediate preservation of these sites.
