RSP Boiler Room No.49: WR Teldrick Morgan, Maryland

When it comes to playing in control and understanding the angles and leverage of the game, this receiver has skills that many top prospects lack.

Be it the big-time star, the small-school gem, the underrated, or the under-appreciated, I love watching good football players. Maryland wide receiver and return man Teldrick Morgan fits the bill.

The New Mexico State transfer does a lot of little things that I appreciate from a football player. He’s shifty, he’s comfortable with physical play, and he plays in control of his body.

That last quality is something many top prospects don’t do—especially wide receivers.

The boiler room features analysis that I would share with NFL decision makers if they asked for a handful of plays that illustrates the talent, skills, limitations, or developmental upside of an NFL prospect.

We’re going to examine three plays of Morgan’s game before he made his way to Maryland–a slant, a corner route, and a punt return.
