Party Recap

My daughters Anais and Sophia have their birthdays just a few days apart, so we decided to celebrate them together. Anais, who turned 7, has had a fascination for horses and ponies ever since she was 4 years old. She is an ardent animal lover and loves anything associated with them: so we decided to host a Vintage horse party for her birthday. She was really very excited and thrilled when she learned about the party theme. I too liked the theme as it could be customized according to the age group and as we were hosting a combined party, it was perfect for both our daughters and their friends. Our younger daughter Sophia who turned 1, though very young but she also enjoyed her party. We were very impressed and delighted by Alejandra from Pas-3 Art in Cakes who made the horse cookies and cupcake toppers. Sophia was so happy eating the cake pops and the horse cookies. It was funny to see her reaction as she took time to figure out that they were cookies.

The buffet had a spread of Chipotle's Mexican grill style bowls with cilantro-Lime Rice, beans, roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, sour cream, Pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, cheese, fajitas and much more. Our birthday girl Anais’s outfit was sent by our friend Brenda from ‘All for my Doll’. It was a cute a pettiskirt and a pretty shirt with ruffles at the top. Anais looked so beautiful! The birthday invites, labels, tags were designed by us and we also styled the party.

My amazing husband made the picture of the horses out of the pallet and we created the horse silhouette using a vinyl sticker. My mom and I made the garland tassel. She also decorated the goodie bags beautifully, using paper dollies, a small clothespin and the personalized tags we designed. Each and every child was happy to get the bag, which had sweets, snacks and a small toy.

The birthday party of both my angles was a blast and everyone really enjoyed it!
