German photographer Silvana Denker wants to make a point about body love. So she takes photos of women walking around in public--wearing only their underwear.

Denker shared images from a recent photoshoot in Berlin on her Instagram account, writing that she is working on similar campaigns all around Germany.
She's sharing her photos using the hashtag #BodyLove.

Denker is one of many artists and activists taking to Instagram to promote body love. Activists like Anastasia Amour share pictures of themselves and talk about their experiences. Others use social media to hit back against unfair representations of different bodies. Instagram has become a rich resource for body image activists to use to spread their messages and reach a wider audience.
For the Berlin series, Denker worked with underwear company SugarShape, who provided the women with lingerie for the shoot.

Denker herself is a plus-size model, and has worked tirelessly to promote acceptance of different body types.
"Show love and respect, not hate," Denker urged her followers.
