It's cool to keep a crystal or two in your corner because they're gorgeous to look at, plus they spread all the good vibes. But now you can create crystal lip art, which is, of course, next level.

If you haven't already seen the work of New-York-based makeup artist Johannah Adams (@beyou.byjoh), who has been wowing everyone with her mystical crystal lip art creations, get ready to be hypnotized/stunned by these geode-inspired lips.

Her gem-like creations actually resemble druzy quartz and amethyst slices, and will leave you asking yourself, "How in the world did she create this?!" Same. So I got a hold of Adams and had her come in to Cosmopolitan.com to create two exclusive how-tos.

"As a makeup artist, I’m always looking to find inspiration everywhere around me," Adams said. "It all started with my gold geode crystal pendant necklace. I wanted to see if I could take a crack at it and recreate a crystal look without it being a two-dimensional imitation. I started playing around with some glitters and gold pigment and eventually figured it out."

These aren't the most practical lip looks to wear out — and definitely not when you're kissing bae — but who cares? All that matters is that your lips sparkles and shine like a damn crystal.

Here's what Johannah used to create her gold crystal lip:

1. Make sure your lips are hydrated with balm.

2. Combine Elizabeth Arden’s Crystal Clear Gloss, Make Up For Ever Color Cream in “White," and craft glitter to create the white glitter crystal mixture.

3. Use a small, flat makeup brush to gently press the mixture onto the center of your lips.

4. Blend Elizabeth Arden’s Crystal Clear Gloss with Mehron’s Metallic Powder in “Gold."

5. Using a small, thin brush, line the perimeter of your lips with the gold mixture.

Finally, slay on with your golden crystal lips like the true goddess you are.

Amethyst Lip

Here's what Johannah used to create a purple geode crystal lip:

1. Make sure your lips are hydrated with balm.

2. Combine Elizabeth Arden’s Crystal Clear Gloss, NYX's Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in “Amethyst," House of Beauty's Lip Hybrid in “Midnight,” and craft glitter to create a purple glitter mixture.

3. Use a small, flat makeup brush to gently press the glitter mixture onto the center of your lips.

4. Combine Elizabeth Arden’s Crystal Clear Gloss, Make Up For Ever Color Cream in “White," and craft glitter to create a white glitter mixture. Carefully press this onto the outer corners of your lips.

5. Using a small brush or your fingertip, gently press loose iridescent glitter onto the center of your lips.

6. With a small makeup brush, line the perimeter of your lips with House of Beauty’s Lip Hybrid in “Dragon” to mimic the outer color of the stone.

Voilà! Your lips have just been crystallized. Now, shine bright like a diamond an amethyst!
