Week 4 fantasy studs, duds, sleepers: Do not start Christine Michael
For the Win is here to help you set your fantasy football lineup. Here are USA TODAY Sports' rankings for every position. To supplement that, we've compiled our list of studs, duds and sleepers for Week 4…
STUDS
1. RB Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals
Hill is coming off a fantastic game against the best defense in the league, and now he'll face a Dolphins team that has been gashed for 148.5 running yards per game over their last two. The Bengals also seem to be veering away from the running-back-by-committee approach, which means more carries for Hill. Giovani Bernard carried the ball only five times last week.
2. WR Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars offense is in a rut. Blake Bortles is struggling and Robinson has yet to put up a monster game in terms of yardage. The schedule will get a little easier this week as the Jags head to London to take on the depleted Colts secondary. Robinson could have a monster game.
3. QB Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees is always good for 300 yards and a couple of scores. He could go off for even more against the Chargers pass defense, which has surrendered the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Get Brees in your lineups.
4. WR DeSean Jackson, Washington Redskins
Kirk Cousins' deep ball accuracy looked a lot sharper in Week 3, which is tremendous news for Jackson owners. Also tremendous news? Washington takes on one of the worst secondaries in the league this weekend when it travels to Cleveland. Jackson will get plenty of big play opportunities.
DUDS
1. RB Christine Michael, Seattle Seahawks
Michael will be a valuable player going forward with Thomas Rawls out injured, but you may want to keep him on the bench this week if you have other options. The Jets are nasty against the run and are giving up just 64.3 yards per game on the ground. It might be a good idea to sit all of your Seahawks, in fact. Unless you have Seattle's defense. Did you see Ryan Fitzpatrick last week?
2. QB Eli Manning, New York Giants
Mike Zimmer and the Vikings defense turned Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton into punching bags in consecutive weeks. They did allow those two to run for a score, which inflated their fantasy production, but don't expect Manning to burn them on the ground. Or through the air. It should be a tough night for the Giants offense.
3. TE Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans
Walker is expected back at practice this week, but that doesn't mean you should feel comfortable playing him on Sunday. The Titans passing game is struggling right now and the Texas have been quite stingy against opposing tight ends, allowing just five fantasy points total on the season.
4. WR Mike Evans, WR Buccaneers
This is a perfect matchup for Broncos CB Aqib Talib, who is usually assigned to the opposing team's biggest receiver. He'll get physical with Evans and will be able to compete for those 50/50 balls Jameis Winston is so fond of throwing.
SLEEPERS
1. QB Trevor Siemian, Denver Broncos
If you're desperate for a quarterback, go with the hot hand. The Bengals game could be a turning point for both Siemian and this passing game. Gary Kubiak featured his second-year quarterback heavily in the gameplan, and the result was a 312-yard, four-touchdown performance. The Buccaneers have been generous to fantasy quarterbacks so far this season.
2. TE Zach Miller, Chicago Bears
The Lions don't seem to be too concerned with covering tight ends, especially in the red zone, which is where Miller has done most of his damage over the last year. Detroit has already given up five touchdowns to tight ends this season.
3. WR Terrelle Pryor, Cleveland Browns
If Pryor is still available in your league, stop reading this and go pick him up right now. He's really all the Browns have now that the team's top two quarterbacks are out, Corey Coleman is hurt and Josh Gordon is still a week away from making his return. Pryor will get plenty of touches against the Redskins' 29th-ranked defense.
4. RB Cameron Artis-Payne, Carolina Panthers
Artis-Payne is a deep sleeper for this week. He got only 12 carries in his 2016 debut against the Vikings, but he would have gotten a lot more if Carolina hadn't fallen behind in the fourth quarter. He should get somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 carries against a Falcons defense that is giving up 120 rushing yards per game.
