Rug producer Rugs America has a new showroom in Manhattan’s famed Textile Building.
Located at 295 Fifth Avenue, suite 1203 in New York, the new space enables the Farmingdale, N.Y.-based supplier to show its wares during the twice annual N.Y. Home Textiles Market, which takes place each March and September and is a major draw for big box retailers and key national accounts.
“We are excited about the opening of our showroom in 295 5th,” said company spokesman Aaron Hakimian. “We look forward to increasing our market share and servicing important relationships with our existing big box dealers. The showroom will be up and running in January for regular appointments with a major debut at the NY home textiles market in March 2017.”
The new showroom is currently undergoing a complete renovation and is expected to be open for business in January 2017. Rugs America plans to debut this space during the March 2017 Home Fashions Week, along with exclusive new introductions to the company’s product line.
In recent years, Rugs America has continued to grow in the mass merchant arena. Officials say this was a natural progression for the company, and the new showroom is one of many endeavors that Rugs America plans to undertake with the goal of further cultivating these business partnerships.
