The latest gameplay trailer for Farming Simulator 17 shows a new way for players to transport wood and grain over large distances – drivable trains.

The new video shows the two train lines you can use to traverse the game’s Goldcrest Valley location. In certain sections of the map budding farmers can stock, sell or transfer harvests directly from the trains. Heavy-duty cranes facilitate the transfer wood at saw mills, where it can then be sold, and silos will keep the grain safe during transport. There’s also a meeting point where both lines connect, allowing players to transfer their goods between trains.

Trains are the latest in an ever-growing list of features that is making Farming Simulator 17 the most comprehensive farming simulation yet. You can catch up on all our coverage here.

Farming Simulator 17 will be released 25th October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will include online multiplayer, supporting six simultaneous farmers on console and 12 on PC. For the first time, console versions of the game will also support player mods.
