Lindsay Lohan Is Now a Budding Nightclub Empresario

In perhaps the least surprising news ever, Lindsay Lohan is making a foray from acting into something she has plenty of experience with: nightclubs. Page Six reports the Mean Girls star “will open a club in Athens, Greece, with her rumored boyfriend, restaurateur Dennis Papageorgiou, on Saturday.”

The club will even be named after the actress — it’s called Lohan — and she’s been given a large percentage of ownership rights, Page Six says.

The former child star doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to her nightlife activities: Earlier this year, an employee at VBar in Greenwich Village said that Lohan hurled racist remarks at him after he asked the actress and her sister Ali to leave the bar's bathroom. In 2012, she reportedly punched a woman in the face at a bar in Chelsea.

A rep for the nightclub tells Page Six that Lohan and her boyfriend are preparing to welcome the actress’ “Hollywood circle” to the opening night event this week, though it’s unclear which C-list celebs that might actually entail.

Lohan hasn’t appeared in any film or television projects in some time, though according to IMDB, she’s in post-production on something called The Shadow Within. She did, however, recently act as sous chef for Jamie Oliver.
