Nike's raffling self-tying Nike Mags from 'Back to the Future'

The future is now.

You can enter to win your own pair of the limited-edition Nike Mags.

Nike is raffling off 89 pairs of the Nike Mag sneakers. Yes, those are the shoes that Michael J. Fox wore in Back to the Future 30 years ago. Yes, these new shoes have self-tying laces, like they do in the movie. Yes, these shoes light up, like they do in the movie. Yes, they're awesome, like they are in the movie.

Starting today, you can donate $10 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, as many times as you want, for a chance to score the iconic sneakers. Winners of the digital drawing in U.S .and Canada will be notified Oct. 17. There will be three other pairs auctioned off internationally, with all of those proceeds benefitting the MJFF, as well.

If this all sounds familiar to you, it's because Nike did, in fact, partner with Fox in 2011 to auction another version of the shoe (and raise $10 million in 10 days for the Foundation).

But if you're not Fox (who got his own Nike Mags last year) and you don't win the digital drawing, you can still purchase your own kind of self-tying shoes this year. Nike's new HyperAdapt 1.0 is going on sale to the general public in late November.
