The Queen's Bentley, Princess Di's Audi and Elton John's Rolls-Royce: Incredible collection of cars that once belonged to royalty (and showbiz royalty) set to sell for over £1million

Princess Diana's old Audi convertible, the Queen's Bentley and Elton John's Rolls-Royce Phantom are among an incredible collection of cars expected to sell for more than £1million next month.

The 12-car collection, owned by a private gentleman, also includes a 1972 Fiat 500L, valued at £22,000, which David Cameron once bought as a present for his wife Samantha as well as Will Young's old Bristol Brigand.

Two of the Queen's old cars will be put up for sale - with the Mulsanne limousine, built by Bentley in 2012 as a special gift for her Diamond Jubilee tour of Great Britain, expected to attract particular interest. 

The luxury green motor, which is expected to sell for around £235,000, was fitted with armour protection, reinforced tyres and walnut burr veneered picnic tables as well as waist rails bear the Royal crest.

It was the car that took The Queen to her only Cabinet Meeting at 10 Downing Street in 2012.

Her 2001 Daimler Supercharged V8 should sell for around £60,000 at the Silverstone Auctions' Classic Motor Show Sale at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre on November 12 and 13.

The Queen travelled more than 11,000 miles in the car and it features a number of unique modifications including a factory adapted armrest with a sliding holder specifically designed to hold her particular type of handbag.

Other cars which will go up for sale include Princess Margaret's 1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II, worth around£110,000, and Michael Winner's 1976 Bentley T1.
