But while we were all fawning over Harry's cool new magazine shoot and blossoming Hollywood career and basking in Zayn's album, Niall's been planning his own solo jaunt.
Yep, Niall has a brand new single coming very soon indeed, judging from some very compelling evidence.
First of all there's this tweet from Radio Disney claiming they were about to spin Niall's "brand new song" called 'This Town'.
Niall also now has a solo profile on Apple Music, which points in the direction of an imminent release.
He first revealed that he had some solo ideas in May 2016, and went on to officially sign a record deal with Capitol Records a few months later.
Niall's also been in the studio with Wayne Hector this year, who he previously worked with on big 1D hits like 'Best Song Ever' and 'Steal My Girl'.
