This week, iconic UK music program Later … with Jools Holland kicks off its 49th series. For the inaugural episode airing on Tuesday, Kings of Leon, M83, Jimmy Page, and Sting all shared the stage. Jack White, too, appeared on the episode, performing The White Stripes’ favorite “We’re Going To Be Friends” in support of his new archival acoustic album. Replay the striking performance below.

Jools Holland marks White’s second TV appearance behind Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016. Last week, he was nearly brought to tears while performing a medley of “Love Is the Truth” and “You’ve Got Her in Your Pocket” on The Tonight Show.
