It's one way to make a splash! Photographer BELLYFLOPS into a pool to create the perfect spray of droplets behind his swimwear models

  • Japanese photographer has posted video of himself jumping into a pool behind one of his models
  • His move makes a huge splash as he dives in fully clothed
  • The end result is a very unusual poolside shoot

Some people are willing to suffer for their art - and one Japanese photographer has proven that he's definitely one of them.

To create the perfect background for a swimwear shoot, he decided to do what any dedicated photographer would do - and belly-flopped into the swimming pool.

He succeeded spectacularly, creating a huge splash that sounds uncomfortable to say the least.

Recently, the snapper - who goes by the Twitter handle@snowfairy88 - posted the video of his efforts online.

He also posted a series of photos showing how he created the shot by flinging himself, fully clothed, into the water.

It might not be the most sophisticated or high-quality technique - but it certainly manages to get the job done.

But this isn't the first time the he has used this technique.

In October of 2014, he also attempted to bellyflop into a swimming pool to create the same effect.

Noticeably, the water didn't splash as dramatically as in the newer photo - so it really does prove that practice makes perfect.
