Literally Everything Is Connected in the Manic Teaser for BBC America's Dirk Gently

Say a word. Is it connected to the mystery in BBC America’s version of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency? According to this teaser, probably!

Some of the words that flash across the screen make sense for a murder mystery. “Cops,” “Killer” “Corpses,” and such. Then we’ve got “Ken” (presumably the name of the character we then see), “Pararibulitis” (a fake disease that gives one character hallucinations and leaves her housebound), “carnivore” (I cannot tell you what that one references).

I can tell you that when I tried to rewind and watch this trailer and pause it to figure out what was flashing by, it kept freezing my computer. It feels like an omen.
