Marvel's Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston just showed they're heroes in real life too by paying a heartwarming visit to some sick children.

The pair arrived in character as Thor and Loki, as they visited Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia - and Chris even brought Thor's magical hammer Mjolnir along.

The duo might not always be the best of friends on-screen, but they put their differences aside to pose for pictures with some of their biggest fans.

Posting an adorable snap on Instagram, Chris wrote: "Met the real superheroes of the world at @ladycilentochildrenshospital. A huge shout out to all the brave kids who are an inspiration to all of us!"

The hospital itself added: "Thank you @chrishemsworth and @twhiddleston for creating some superpowered memories for our patients!"

They're the latest Marvel stars to do their bit for sick fans, after Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Gwyneth Paltrow visited an ill teenager earlier this year.
