In June this year, Cortech Developments announced the appointment of Risk UK as its Official Media Partner for the 2016 schedule of Cortech Open Innovation Events (COIE).

Commenting on the Media Partnership with Cortech, Brian Sims (Editor of Risk UK) stated: “This is a great opportunity for Risk UK to be part of a growing and well respected event brand. Building, security, safety and IT systems demand careful consideration if the benefits they offer are to be fully realised by host organisations. It’s absolutely vital for end users managing and mitigating risk to fully understand the threat landscape and be conversant with the latest solutions. The COIE series centres on this requirement and provide a thought-provoking and educational insight into how the smart integration of technology actively reduces risk.”

The COIE series provide a showcase for some of the latest advances in security, fire and building control technology and a platform for demonstrating how interoperability between systems can reduce risk and cost, improve operational efficiencies and provide greater situation awareness.

Collaborating manufacturers at COIE Glasgow include Bosch (CCTV), Harper Chalice (PIDS), Intech Solutions (Control Rooms) and Stentofon-Zenitel UK (Intercoms).
