Hello readers!

This week I'm writing over at Quartz writing about why it can be so challenging for people who excelled at school and the first phase of their career to make the transition into leadership roles. In short, decision anxiety has a lot to do with the difficulties young people face, and the temptation to hedge their bets leads to them to undermine themselves.

For the first time in a while, I worked with an editor to create this article, and I think it shows. My editor at Quartz was fantastic and helped me approach a topic that I've written about before in a new way that hopefully surfaces some of the lessons I've learned. It's always enjoyable to work with someone who is excellent at what they do. Hopefully the piece I wrote for them doesn't outshine the normal product I put out by too much.

Enjoy,
