Point of Life Acupuncture

It's taken me a while to share my experience with Paola, because words don't do justice how amazing she's been! She has supported me through some really key moments in my life the last few years. I found Paola after a pregnancy loss and then 2 months later I went on to have a very healthy / easy pregnancy, a straightforward labor experience and a quick postpartum recovery (at age 35!). Fun fact: she did a labor inducing acupuncture and boom 24 hours later I was in labor a couple of days before my due date.

Her professionalism and genuine care for her patients is felt at every session (and even after - whenever I've been absent for longer than usual she's always noticed and personally reached out). Very grateful for Paola. I still go to her when I have a stressful week or my sleep has been a little off. I immediately notice a difference from that very first night. I even encouraged my husband to go who is not an acupuncture type of person and he gets excited when his appointments come up because of how amazing he feels after.

Paola is an excellent acupuncturist !! A healer by nature and an hour on her table, can make your week. Call it your therapy hour. Enough Said. Book Her!

This review is long overdue. I've been going to Paola for years and love her. She does amazing work, is kind, attentive, genuinely cares about her patients. Over the years she has helped me with stress (which wreaks havoc on your immune system), allergies (which I wasn't even expecting), and a number of issues. I had COVID last year, and she helped speed up recovery. When my dog died Paola helped me through the grief. Even during the pandemic I went regularly and continue to even though I no longer work in SF. I drive from the Peninsula to see Paola once a month. I've tried other acupuncturists, and none of them come close. Paola is a true gem!

Btw, there have been a few different receptionists over the years. The current one Amanda is also wonderful. Very kind and helpful. I think she is also training to become an acupuncturist. Together she and Paola make a great team.

Paola is a miracle worker!!! I've been seeing her for over 10 years on and off. She's helped me with everything from digestion issues to women's health and major shoulder and neck pain. At one point, I had tried everything to elevate chronic pain in my shoulder and neck. I was on copious amounts of painkillers - referred to multiple surgeons who all told me I needed surgery. I had one visit with Paola and instantly felt relief. She's a skilled healer. On top of all of that, she genuinely is an amazing person whom I've grown to really love. Thank you Paola for all your help over the years.

I highly recommend Paola.. and it isn't just my opinion... she won Best in the Bay!! And YES, she truly is. I have gone to different acupuncturists over the past 20 years. And I have been seeing Paola for years. Paola is simply amazing.

She is a clear communicator with a great bedside manner. She has a professional and calming energy that has you know you are in good hands. And best of all her skills are magical! Her technique is gentle, she uses thin needles and I ALWAYS feel better getting up from the table than I did when I walked in. Over the years Paola has helped me with digestive issues, pain, headaches, vertigo, and nausea. She even helped reduce scarring from a minor surgery. This year I ended up with long covid symptoms that are much worse than COVID itself. I went to many doctors and practitioners. And today she is the ONLY practitioner who has been able to significantly help reduce or eliminate my Long Covid Symptoms of shortness of breath & exhaustion. She is amazing.

Yelping from the mountaintops! Paola is AMAZING! I'm in my seventh month of pregnancy and she has been there to support me and my growing baby every step of the way. From early nausea to maintaining blood sugar stability, addressing pain, and lifting my mood... being in Paola's care has been one of the most powerful resources of health and well-being during this pregnancy. I'm so deeply grateful to have found her. I hope you do too!

Paola is amazing. Her technique is perfect. She is kind and extremely attentive to my health concerns. She helped me so much with a variety of health issues. I'm very sad that she is not longer seen patients in Sausalito. It was perfect setup for me.

Paola is amazing!! I went in because I had deep fatigue. Deep. I had been struggling for years with energy and mood and the pandemic only made that harder. I felt better after the first visit and felt much better regularly after just a couple of months! I have reduced my visits and still feel great. In addition to shifting all the things I told her about the work as well as eliminated my daily asthma symptoms. I didn't even know this was possible and it wasn't even a goal. Not only am I not tired all the time but it feels like vital energy is flowing in my body again.... if you know what I mean. ;) Which my partner is not complaining about.

I also did a cleanse with Paola to try to resolve some issues with my gut that I'd been trying to resolve for a long time. It was great. After completing it I felt another burst of energy, lost weight that I wasn't specifically trying to lose but was welcome and stopped having sugar cravings!

I feel overall healthier and more positive.

I have tried several highly rated acupuncturists in the city and no one compares to Paola. She is next level. When she is working with you it truly feels like magic - during and after.

My husband and I were taking longer than we'd like to conceive :) After understanding my case, Paola thought I would be pregnant within 3 mo of working with her. She was right! This was after a year of trying. I know fertility is a mysterious beast but I can say with confidence that Paola was a big part of our success.

Since working with her we moved to East Bay but I drive to the city just to see her. I cannot imagine finding another acupuncturist as gifted, passionate and caring as Paola.
