Citizens of Thailand, Brunei get visa free access to Taiwan

Citizens of Thailand and Brunei are allowed to visit Taiwan without a visa under a one-year trial program that takes effect Monday as part of Taiwan's "new southbound policy" that seeks to strengthen Taiwan's relations with Southeast Asia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
