Sky Box Sets has paired up with award-winning chocolatier Paul A. Young to create the first ever TV themed box of chocolates… Chocolate inspired by some of our favourite box sets? Yes please!
The master chocolatier himself spent over 300 hours creating nine utterly delicious chocolates. Paul is a big fan of box sets and watched over 100 hours of TV to research and develop the ingredients for each of the individual chocolates.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
The Ultimate Chocolate Box Set includes 9 wonderful (and super tasty) themed creations:
1. The Walking Dead
This chocolate wins for best exterior. It’s emblazoned with a bloodshot eerie eye, but on the inside of it’s white chocolate outer layer is hollow and soulless.
2. Mad Men
For dark chocolate fans, this elegant chocolate will be your favourite. We love the polished bronze finish.
3. The Affair
This isn’t just your typical love heart chocolate. Look closely and you’ll see it’s imperfections dented into it. Taste-wise, it’s utterly divine with a strawberry centre and bitter aftertaste.
4. Broadchurch
As pairings go dark chocolate and salt water ganache don’t sound as if they’d compliment each other. But boy, were we wrong. This was one of our favourites.
5. 24
Hand-painted with the show’s iconic countdown clock, it’s simple but effective. It’s got cayenne pepper, gin and thyme, with a whole coffee bean at its centre. It’s punchy and explosive, and is created to linger on your palette for 24 minutes. So cool.
6. Fortitude
Wrapped in a frosty white coating and infused with mint, pine, and clove oil. This choc will leave your taste buds feeling icy-cold just like the Arctic air.
7. Penny Dreadful
Gothic glam at it’s finest. Expect dark chocolate with a raspberry ganache infused with Chambord and at its centre is a scrumptious griottine cherry waiting to be discovered.
8. Nashville
This chocolate combines southern sweet treats such as pumpkin pie, doughnuts and maple syrup. Sounds weird, tastes wonderful.
9. Sky Box Sets
Last but by no means least, this chocolate is just as addictive as all of the good shows available on Sky Box Sets. It melts in your mouth and is the perfect companion for a box set-athon.
