Horsing around to help a friend! Horse uses its mouth to help a stablemate remove harness

  • Video caught a horse helping his friend remove a red harness from his face
  • A chestnut horse pulled on his friends halter and lead until it came loose
  • After a minute and a half of pulling the pesky head gear finally falls off

A horse was caught on camera lending a hand - or mouth - to a friend who needed help getting a harness off its face.

In a video uploaded on Monday, the sneaky duo can be seen working together to remove the red halter and lead.

The clip begins with a chestnut horse with a white face blaze in a stall nipping at a dark brown horse's red harness.

The chestnut horse gives a tug to a loose piece of the harness on left side of the darker horse's head.

On the first tug, little happens.

But the chestnut is persistent and continues to work on the loose piece with another pull.

He pulls up and down, trying every angle to free his friend from the pesky head gear.

When the chestnut pulls one way, the darker horses head is pulled in the same direction.

After more than a minute of trying, the harness nearly slips off, but the darker horse begins to get frustrated and pulls his head away.

The chestnut give one more attempt and finally the harness plops on to the floor.

The darker horse turns around and notices the camera before walking over to the person filming the video.
