Hello to all my readers.
As Rosie Clarke, I write heart-warming and sometimes heart-wrenching stories about everyday people and the dramas that shape their lives. My characters become real people to me and most of them are like old friends. Peggy, her children and friends, and all the girls at Harpers. Let them be your friends too.
As well as the Lizzie series, I've written seven Mulberry Lane books and five Harpers and more are in the pipeline as well as an exciting new series Blackberry Farm, which is set mostly in Cambridgeshire.
I hope you will enjoy reading the books as much as I enjoy writing them.
Best wishes from Rosie Clarke

About the author

Hello, to all my readers, here in the UK and all over the world. I currently write for Boldwood Books as Rosie Clarke. My books are gritty, emotional stories with characters that reach out to the reader and draw you into their world. They want you to become their friend as they tell you of their loves, hates, grief and happiness. Mostly set during the two World Wars they are usually in series, though now and then I do a standalone.
My current series are:
The Harpers Emporium series, now into its eight book and continuing.
The Mulberry Lane series, ten published.
Blackberry Farm series. Three published and a fourth out in 2025
Dressmakers Alley series. One out and the second published early next year.
The new Dressmakers Alley series will have connections with both Mulberry Lane and also Harpers. As the series goes on we might even discover Peggy from Mulberry Lane when she was young. How much fun can we have with that?
There are also several other trilogies and standalones in my list at Amazon.
I write for pleasure and hope to give pleasure to my readers. I thank all my readers most sincerely for reading my books and I love to hear when you enjoy them. If I can make you smile or perhaps shed a tear then I've done all I could hope for. Sending warmest wishes, Rosie Clarke.

Able is going into business building with Tom. Peggy has three women to mother as their babies are due. Janet has a child, Sheila and Rose Barton.
Another waif and stray catches Peggy's heartstrings, but she appears to be spiteful and then does things that make Peggy wonder if she is telling lies....
Someone has entered Peggy into a landlady competition. I have no idea who. Doesn't say in the book.
Alice is becoming frail.
