Kicker Lifestyle Products introduced its new flagship portable audio system, the 2.1-channel Bullfrog Jump, the first in a line of new high-output Bluetooth Bullfrog speakers.
The Bullfrog Jump is IP66 waterproof rated and features two 4-inch drivers and two 3-inch by 4-inch passive subwoofers that produce a 360-degree sound field, the company said.
The speaker can be daisy-chained via Bluetooth with another Bullfrog Jump. A 3.5mm input jack is also available for connecting a portable audio player when Bluetooth isn’t available. It also includes an FM radio tuner.
Bullfrog’s rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 hours, with average listening, and there is a dedicated USB charge-out port for an attached mobile device.
The speaker is available in two color options, green/black and gray/white.
The new Kicker Connect app complements the rollout of the Bullfrog with intuitive control of the FM radio (including custom presets), volume, status monitor, factory reset, a searchable user guide, and wireless stereo mode setup for daisy-chaining, the company said.
The Bullfrog Jump will ship in September at a suggested retail of $399.
