The Scottish band's new album Ellipsis debuts at number one this week, shifting 37,000 combined chart sales in total.

They managed to keep Adele's mega-selling 25 off pole position - it stays put at number two.

Drake's Views is at three, Coldplay are at four with A Head Full Of Dreams, and ELO's All Over The World completes the Top 5.

Avalanches are a new entry at 10 with their long-awaited comeback album Wildflower, and Shura lands at 13 with her debut set Nothing's Real.

Elsewhere, Lawson's second studio album Perspective is a new entry at 23, while The 1975's former chart topper I Like It When You Sleep... climbs eight spots to 25.

Carole King's classic album Tapestry rises by four places to 28 following her British Summertime gig at Hyde Park, while Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is back up to 30.
