The Five Types Of Travelers On An Airplane

Millions of people take to the airways each year. There are generally around 5,000 airplanes in the air at any given time over the U.S. With many of these plans carrying hundreds of passengers, have you ever thought about the different types of passengers you tend to see on an airplane?

The Vacationers
These types of passengers can range from being very chill to overly enthusiastic. They tend to take a lot of pictures and have quite a few family members or friends with them. The vacationers can get somewhat rowdy at times. If you are looking for a quiet person to sit next too, it probably won’t be them.

The Antisocial Travelers
If you don’t want to talk to anyone while you are on an airplane, then you just might be the antisocial travel. You tend to keep to yourself. You often pack headphones, not because you necessarily want to listen to something, but because you want to try to discourage people from bothering you. If you are this type of traveler you don’t like people in your personal space on the airplane and you definitely don’t want to share the arm rest.

Scaredy Cats
These types of flyers don’t like to fly. They have either had a bad experience in the air, don’t like flights or are just first time flyers. Scaredy cats often won’t try to look out the window at all and either don’t want to socialize or are overly chatty and will tell anyone that will listen that they are scared of flying. These types of flyers will bring a lot of different items on the plane to try to take their mind off of being scared. Unfortunately, most of these things won’t work.

Honeymooners
Honeymooners tend to be very happy on the plane. And, why wouldn’t they be? After all they just got married and are going to some place fun to relax. These types of flyers can be very affectionate and have no problem with public displays of affection. They also like to tell fellow passengers all about their wedding and will even pull out their phones to show pictures of their nuptials.

The Loners
Loners fly alone and usually have no problems doing so. They don’t need people to accompany them on vacation. Life is short and there’s no need to put off that long awaited trip just because they have no one to go with them. Unlike the antisocial flyer, loners generally have no problem talking to other passengers and will even try to make a friend while on the plane.
