Capcom release major new update for Street Fighter V.

The update features a slew of new content, including new stages, costume options and a cinematic story mode titled A Shadow Falls. In addition, two new characters to join the roster: Ibuki and Balrog.

A Shadow Falls will be available to all players for free, and the new characters can be purchased using in-game earned Fight Money or real currency.

The story expansion depicts the battle between the evil Shadaloo organization and the heroic World Warriors who rise up against them. Players battle using each of the core 16 characters, in addition to the six 2016 DLC characters. It’s hard to say how this will turn out but you can get a flavour of the new mode in the its trailer.

Two new stages – along with alternate versions – are also available: Balrog’s Las Vegas stage and Karin’s Kanzuki Family Private Beach stage. Again, they can be purchased with Fight Money or real currency.

Other updates include matchmaking improvements and an upgrade to the in-game shop to support PlayStation Store and Steam money purchase options.
