Watch out, crafters! There's a new kid in town. FolkArt Ultra Dye is a vibrant, self-sealing formula that will not bleed, peel, or rub off and beautifully brushes onto wood and natural fibers. Our Plaid Creators spun their imaginations around this awesome new product and created some incredibly unique and versatile crafts. Get ready for some awesome color blocking, stenciled, and ombre effects!
One Artsy Mama's Amy Latta used a whole spectrum of FolkArt Ultra Dye to make this Summer-perfect
Ombre Wooden Spinner. Use it for some fabulous indoor decor, or take it outside for a bit for a sunny summer party!
The Pretty Life Girls used Ultra Dye to add vibrant color to wooden beads and
dip-dye a large basket. They finished off their project by stitching the beads to the basket using yarn and adding a large
DIY tassel for added fun.
Don't these bright colors remind you of summer? Bev of
Flamingo Toes built her own beautiful serving tray and accented the dyed surface and sides with dyed and painted wood cut outs. How great would a nice tall pitcher of lemonade look on
this platter?
In this fun craft, Abbey of The Cards We Drew makes a vibrant
map of the United States! In addition to these super cool colors, she provides tips on how to perfectly trace a map
onto your wooden surface using a pencil and graphite paper!

In this
"dip" dyed basket project, Erin of ErinSpain.com illustrates the blending capabilities of ultra for an awesome ombre effect. See how she does it

Last but certainly not least, Ashely of Cherished Bliss makes a
framed and stenciled sign for her little boys' bedroom wall. Although she's not sure where she'll be hanging it yet, she knows she will be using a lot more
Ultra Dye as she continues to furnish their room!
