The NASA App Deploys On Apple TV With Live Views From the ISS and More

NASA has launched its popular space exploration app for all you couch cosmonauts out there who own an Apple TV. The free app has everything from high-res images of space to videos on-demand, and provides a live stream of NASA TV.

The NASA App has been available for Android, Fire OS, and iOS devices in the past, but now the vastness of the universe can be experienced on the big screen in your living room. You can watch NASA TV, stream a real-time view of Earth from the International Space Station, view over 15,000 images in a slideshow, watch NASA videos, track satellites in real time with 2-D and 3-D maps, and listen to Third Rock internet radio. You can also stay up to date on NASA mission information, as well as read the latest news and tweets. The app is available to download for free in the Apple TV app store, just search “NASA.”
