Granny squares are a great project for beginners. This daydream baby blanket will have you looking like a real professional when you present this to a new mom. If you know the gender of the baby you could certainly adjust the colors to match or present one in gender neutral colors like this. This will be a treasure for years to com.

What a beautiful baby blanket and bonus patterns are also attached. This beginner daydream baby blanket will be appropriate for either a boy or a girl. However if the colors are not to your liking changing up the colors to be specific for a boy or a girl would be acceptable as well. There are no losers with this pattern.

Hi jindaroo, I think this is in American English because it uses the abbreviation dc (double crochet) which is treble in the UK. Here is a link to the abbreviations. I would love to make this pattern. It seems so easy to make. Good thing we have the pattern right here on the same page. Thanks.

Hello just wondering if this beautiful pattern is in English or American stitches please

This is my version of the 'Daydream Baby Blanket' using just some of my stash, I used the blue because a baby boy is expected. The mother -to-be was over the moon.
