Letter: I applaud Joel Freedman’s integrity

I wish to applaud Joel Freedman for his essay "Are charges against Trump’s campaign manager valid," published April 12 in the Daily Messenger, for several reasons.

First, Freedman’s analyses of the actual incident were far better than any I've seen in any newspaper or TV to date. This has, as of today, been confirmed by the charges being dropped for insufficient cause. It's unfortunate that the news media forgot to "tell the whole truth," as it would have been a far more interesting story if published in its entirety.

Freedman also should be commended for having the integrity and fair-play principles to write the article. I suspect that the folks being unfairly attacked were likely not his favorite politicians. So nice job, Freedman, and thanks, again!
