Let's face it, women who enter STEM as a career choice face many challenges as they pursue their degree or enter the workforce. There is a growing number of evidence that points to gender bias, confidence, recognition, and isolation as reasons why women leave a field they were initially excited to enter. Until there is systemic change, issues such as gender bias will continue to exist. However, this participatory workshop will equip you to advocate on your behalf in an environment where you may be outnumbered. There may be hurdles and challenges, but there is opportunity! Learn how to project confidence, credibility, and harness an essential leadership skill.
