    Constructed with a cast iron body, this heavy duty French fry cutter will withstand the high demands of commercial use. For added durability, this fry cutter is equipped with a rust-resistant stainless steel reciprocating rod that is warp and corrosion resistant. To keep this fry cutter within easy reach, it can be permanently mounted onto a countertop, cutting board, or wall using the screw holes on each leg. Or, if you prefer not to drill into surfaces, you can use the suction feet included in this set to mount the cutter onto countertops. This option also allows you to move the cutter around the kitchen rather than have it mounted permanently in one place.     I've not had a chance to use all the blades in the set yet. What I have used though works wonderful. The handle is long and allows you to cut very large potatoes into frenchfries. It is a bit large requiring space to store. I'm sure come time for cookouts it will be great to have because I'm sure we will be able to cut a large amount of fries in a short period of time.

    Shoestring fries are generally 9/32" our smallest blade cut is 3/8".

    Can I wash the blades in the dishwasher ?

    It is not recommended. The proper way to clean it is to wipe the french fry cutter base, handle and safeguard with a cloth and warm soapy water. To clean the blades and pusher blocks, use a soft bristle brush and warm soapy water. DO NOT use your fingers.

    How do you change the blades?

    There is a screw that holds it in place, which you would need to remove and then remove then take out the blade, put in the other blade and tighten in place with the screw.
